Tony Caballero
Loving Father,Grandfather, Son, Brother and Friend

Our beloved Tony has been called to Heaven. Though his time here on earth ended his life up in Heaven has only begun.  Waiting for him is his loving mother Mira, together they will watch over the family and friends with loving care.

 

Tony lived a wonderful life on his own terms. He is survived by his father Luis Caballero, his son Luis Caballero, his brothers Carlos, Victor, Jesus, Juan, Michael, and David Caballero, his sisters Ana Jimenez, Nellie Garcia , Adelaida Caballero, and Luisanna Caballero, by his daughter in law, his grandchildren, his aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Tony is also survived by Tina Caballero whom he was married to for almost 20 years.  

 

Charismatic, multi-dimensional, surprising, full of life, the list goes on when attempting to describe Tony. What we can say is that he was filled with love for his family.

A story comes to mind which really paints a picture of what we cannot describe in words.  At the age of four years old, while living in Aguililla Michoacan, Tony would leave his home to play with the neighborhood kids. The thing is that the kids were twice his age but that did not bother Tony.  What did however bother him was the rules they would set for their games.  Tony, as you may know, is someone who has always done things his way.  So one day while home a boy about the age of 8 comes to the house and knocks on the door.  Our mother answered the door and the young boy asked if the King of the Gang was home. Our mother told him that no leader of any gang lived there.  The young boy leaned over and saw Tony standing there and said, "Thats the King of our Gang!" Four year old Tony steps up and said, "Yes, I am the King of the Gang, " and off they went to play.  Tony had such a way about him that he managed to become the leader of their group at the age of four!!

On September 24, 2021 Tony Caballero passed away. He was surrounded by family and knew that he was loved. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
